Sunday School News

Happy November St. Luke families, friends and neighbors!

Well, October was a difficult month for our devoted Sunday school teacher – Miss Lorrie was out all but one Sunday recovering from a series of strokes. Please keep her in your prayers as she goes thru rehab and recovers at home.

Nevertheless, Sunday school classes continued to be held and were taught by our wonderful subs, Misses Denise and Amy Tsang and Sumitha Pauli. Looking ahead, Christmas pageant rehearsals start this month in preparation for performance on December 10th. Here is our November Sunday School schedule:

Nov 5 – Miss Sumitha will teach about Martin Luther and the Reformation,

Nov 12, Youth Sunday – kids can help greet and usher before the 9:30am service; Christmas pageant rehearsal will be held during the Sunday school hour,

Nov 19 – Christmas pageant rehearsal,

Nov 26 – Thanksgiving break so no Sunday school.

Thank you for all of your support while Miss Lorrie has been out. It’s always nice to have an extra parent or two stay in class to help the substitute teacher. Enjoy the rest of November and have an amazing Thanksgiving.

Blessings and best wishes,

Emma Mitchell
