We have been busy around the preschool! We have had a couple new little ones join us in January, making it very busy around the preschool. We have also started enrollment for summer and the 2018-2019 school year. We have had lots of tours and phone calls from people wanting an amazing preschool. If you have friends with preschool aged children, please let them know about our school!
Happy New Year! I hope your Christmas was blessed with family and love.
Thank you to everyone who attended our Christmas Program. The children did an amazing job performing for all their families. Thank you to all the church members who came out to support the children at Amazing Creations!
We have already started preparing for next year’s excitement! We have begun planning for this year’s summer camp. We will be joining St. Luke to run VBS again this year. Enrollment for summer camp and the new school year is starting in January. We are blessed to be almost full and have waitlist for our classes! We have a few part time spaces available if you or anyone you know might be interested!
Merry Christmas! We would like to invite the St. Luke Church members to celebrate the season by joining us for our Annual Christmas Concert on Saturday, December 2nd at 3:00 pm. The children have been busy preparing through the whole month of November. They always do a wonderful job entertaining us with Christmas songs. We hope you can join us!
If you are looking for ways to support the preschool, we have an Amazon Wishlist. Anyone can donate one of these items directly to the school. If you are interested, please go to the Amazon website and search Amazing Creations under “wish list”. We are so grateful for all your support here at the preschool.
From all the staff at Amazing Creations, we wish you a Merry Christmas and pray you all feel the love of Christ this Holiday Season!
Preschool Director & Children’s Ministry Director
October was filled with lots of wonderful Harvest and Halloween events. The families had an especially good time at our Pumpkin Patch. Each year we bring pumpkins to the school for the kids to pick out, have Halloween crafts and treats, and have a photographer taking family photos. Many of the preschool families use these photos for Christmas cards to send to family. Everyone seemed to have an especially good time this year.
Through the month of November, we will be busy preparing for our Annual Christmas Concert on December 2nd at 3:00 pm. The children always do a wonderful job entertaining us with Christmas songs. Please save the date and plan to join us! This special event will take place at St. Luke and we will have special treats in Kurtz Hall following the performance.
This October marks 10 years of me working at Amazing Creations Preschool so I thought I would take some time to reflect on my journey here. While here, I had the opportunity to work in both the preschool and pre-kindergarten classrooms, and had the opportunity to be the preschool director. I have been able to grow the school from about 28 children enrolled to close to 70 consistently. We have added two new classes and increased our licensing age to accommodate younger children. I have had the opportunity to work with some amazing staff who helped me grow both as a teacher/director and as a person. Most importantly, I have had the opportunity to counsel parents, and see families grow and change. I have been able to share with parents the joy of seeing their kids achieve and help parents as they see their kids struggle. I was also able to witness one particularly difficult child grow into a kind and mature child who would witness to his classmates about the Holy Spirit.
